I played your course last fall and must say it has the potential to be, in a year or two THE nicest course in all of Manitoba. If the scenery of a course is any part of your golf experience, the Granite Hills has to top them all. I play all over North America and it would be hard to find a course to beat yours. While the course offers a challenge to good golfers, it is also easily playable by weekend golfers. If I had one word of advice to offer anyone playing your course, it would only be "rent a cart".

I would also like to comment on your web page. My commendations to your web page designer and photographer. he/she has done an absolutely bang up job. It is easy to get around the site and find the information you want. The photographs are absolutely breathtaking. But how did you arrange for a double rainbow at just the right time? If I had one word of advice on the web page design, it would be to go with one transition on your slide show and stick with it. I have worked with Powerpoint for years and find that, if you keep changing transitions, people become more interested on what transition is coming next as opposed to what is on the next slide. I find the random transitions disconcerting.

I look forward to playing your course later in the year.

Oh, and one last comment, I was surprised your prices weren't a bit higher. For the quality of the course, I think your prices are very reasonable. I guess, however, you have to balance that cost with the ease of access and, with higher costs, you would have trouble attracting people from Winnipeg

Overall, heart congratulations on a job well done.

Amazing scenery, course management a must, fairways a dream (if you can stay on them) . This is Granite Hills. I first played this course this year and promptly lost 12 balls. It is also a necessity to rent a cart unless you have the cardiovascular perfection of a 21 year old long distance runner. GH is probably the most challenging course in our Province, next comes Pinawa and I LOVE IT!. Take your clubs, your refreshments and also your camera for a truly satisfying golf-day. I am coming back in the beginning of September just before the leaves start to fall (otherwise I will probably lose 16 balls.) Kudos to the management team at GH. You keep this course in top notch shape. For the truly dedicated golfer (note: not fanatic) the drive out here to experience the outdoors and the challenge of the game is an absolute must.

I played the course late last season and I was very impressed with the quality of the greens, fairways, bunkers and tee boxes. I would challenge anyone to find a course in such good condition given the fact that it had just opened for play. The future of Granite Hills appears to be in very good hands. The layout of the course is impeccable: scenic views, elevation changes, tees with measurable distance differences, water that is truly in play and glimpses of the wildlife indigenous to the area make Granite Hills a privilege to play. Granite Hills should be considered as the host for a number of high profile tournaments both amateur and professional. I plan to make a number of trips out to Granite Hills this year. Always a pleasure to play an exceptional golf course. Keep up the great work!

Sincerely,

Erik Thorvaldson

I was fortunate enough to play your course on opening day, closing day and three times in between. A beautiful course and I can't wait to tee it up in 2008!

As a lot owner I am ecstatic about the up coming year, I was there on Opening day and could not believe the shape the course was in. The scenery to the play of the course and down to the many people running and maintaining the course will make it the place to be in 2008. I know without a doubt it will be one of if not the #1 course to play in Manitoba. A job well done.

HI; Have just gone over all the pictures they are beautiful. I have been trying to send you a email (business related) but none of them have gone through. Your email address seems to be wrong on your webb page. Is it possible to have your correct email. Thank You.
