We are on our way to August, and where has the time gone…..July has been one of the hottest and humid on record and golfers are having a tough time finding a cool day to get out on the tee. Granite Hills is in meticulous condition. All trails have been asphalted since this spring and it has improved the pleasure of riding the 18 holes. No more DUST!!. Come out and check it out.
The first annual Seniors open was held in July. Low gross winner was Dave Martin.
The ladies first annual was also held in July with a wellness theme. Low gross winner was Marlene Watson. Thanks to all who attended these and helped to make them a huge success.
We are now preparing for the 4th annual His & Her Open on Sunday August 26. Call the pro shop if you are coming out to participate. It is always a sell out so call soon.
I hear staff and golfers discussing their upcoming winter season in places like Arizona and Texas and wonder why our season is so short! Fortunately for some, golf season is extended to 10 to 12 months of the season. Some of us are not as fortunate and must make use of our short season, so take advantage of every great golf day we have. Remember to book on line and get a chance to win a pass for 4 to golf Granite Hills.
Enjoy the remainder of the season!
